Collinsville, Illinois Was the location of the  ALLIED COSMETOLOGIST 50th anniversary Hair and Beauty Show.  It's been several years since Allied hosted a hair show there and we decided that the accommodations at the Holiday will be perfect for out 50th anniversary. The 4 day event opened on June 10th and ended June 13th. This years convention was hosted by Greater East St. Louis and was proudly Represented by our illustrious president Katie Bell. Delegates from The East St. Louis Area including St. Louis, Springfield, Decatur, Rockford, South Beloit, Peoria,  and Chicago) were in attendance to experience the New Trends, Styles and techniques of the hair industry. If you've attended any of Allied Cosmetologist shows in the past you already know that you will get educational classes that have dynamic instruction in Hair Color, Cutting, and Styling. We don't stop just there, we continue to offer tips on Fashion and Fashion Trends. With the combination of Classes, Trade floor with Venders, Banquets with a full Fashion Show. A special thanks to all of our Venders, Sponsors, Models, and Artist for making this years 50 Annual Hair and Beauty Show a complete success! We are already in the planning for our next hair show. For years Allied Cosmetologist has been known to be a driving force in the Hair Industry. Allied has worked very closely with manufactures Local, National and Worldwide in efforts to have a standard that will protect the industry and the consumer. As Allied enters it 50^th year it has come that a lot of the pioneers of this industry are near retirement, retired, or have gone home. Allied Cosmetologist has continued to keep up and create new trends and styles of the beauty by embracing are young artist, stylist and barbers by keeping them in the loop of regulations and laws of the industry. During our 50^th Annual Convention and Trade Show many new delegates became members adding to our ever growing young membership.
